Niki + Jordan, Lake Powell

Horseshoe Bend is a mandatory stop on every roadtrip in that direction. And I live by that. This trip however, was special.

Lake Powell had been a special family vacation spot for Niki, and when Jordan entered her life it became something they shared. When we had initially discussed plans for what their nuptials might contain, and Niki shared her plans for them eloping privately on the water and wanting to to do a first look at Horseshoe Bend and around the nearby bay of the lake.

The adventures we make to get to the places we take photographs are just as sweet as the photos themselves. Niki the most adventurous of us all, scaling rocks and cliffs for every shot.

Later that month the couple were sealed in the Payson Temple, surrounded by family and friends.
