Blair + Kenny, Bonneville Salt Flats

The Salt Flats have become one of my favorite places of all time. I think it’s the whole experience of it. Essentially a two hour road trip to get there, and those first few steps out onto the salt is like walking onto a new planet. Perfectly minimalistic, an awe-inspiring blank canvas to create photos.

That’s why I was ecstatic when Blair reached out to me, saying they would be flying from Texas and were determined to do their engagements there. Magic happened, and I’m not just talking about the fact that we got missed by a huge storm at the beginning of the session. Now if I could just make the two hour drive back home a little shorter… haha.
